CALL FOR AUDITIONS
We are seeking opera singers and a pianist for the tour of our opera production for the 2027–2028 season.
The opera presented is Hansel and Gretel by Engelbert Humperdinck. The work is scored for six performers and will be presented in French, in a revised translation.
Artists will participate in the Festival d’opéra de Québec, a partner of our production, and will then tour across Quebec, Ontario, and the Maritime provinces with a small technical team. A production residency of approximately 4 weeks is planned during the summer of 2027 as part of the festival. The tour will then require availability for a consecutive period of 4 to 6 weeks in Fall 2027.
This is an opportunity to perform in various venues while discovering different regions. All tour logistics are handled by Jeunesses Musicales Canada.
Apply, submit your materials, and go on tour!
