Montréal, October 20, 2026 – The Jeunesses Musicales Canada Foundation is pleased to announce the appointment of three new members to its Board of Directors. At its October 8 meeting, the Board elected Claude Laflamme, Aurélie Moroso and Noémie Ouellet-Gendron as directors of the Foundation.

Their complementary backgrounds in finance, governance, strategy, law and organizational development will enrich the Board’s work and contribute to the Foundation’s growth and visibility.

Claude Laflamme

An accomplished lawyer and executive, Claude Laflamme brings extensive experience in governance, strategy and management, gained at Transat, Astral Media, Stingray, Attraction Média and, most recently, the Office of the outgoing Premier of Québec. Her commitment to the Foundation also reflects her personal background: a classically trained pianist, she has taught music to young students, accompanied singers and instrumentalists, and worked at music camps. She now hopes to bring together her professional experience and her dedication to music and young people in support of the Foundation.

Aurélie Moroso

An Account Manager, Government and Public Sector, at National Bank of Canada, Aurélie Moroso has substantial experience in project financing and supporting public sector organizations, gained in Canada and France. Already involved with JMC, first as a volunteer and later as a collaborator, she notably helped organize the celebrations marking Jeunesses Musicales Canada’s 75th anniversary and the Foundation’s 40th anniversary. She looks forward to continuing this commitment by contributing her expertise and knowledge of the organization to the Board of Directors.

Noémie Ouellet-Gendron, CPA

A Chartered Professional Accountant with more than 15 years of experience, Noémie Ouellet-Gendron is Vice-President, Advisory Services, at Accuracy. Her expertise includes financial analysis, financing, mergers and acquisitions, restructuring and strategic guidance for organizations. Having received musical training in her youth, she hopes to contribute her experience in finance, governance and strategic planning to a mission that reflects her belief in music’s positive impact on young people’s development.

“We are delighted to welcome Claude, Aurélie and Noémie to the Board of Directors. Their diverse backgrounds and complementary expertise are a tremendous asset to the Foundation. They also share a strong desire to support our mission and contribute actively to it. We are very pleased to be able to draw on their perspectives and experience as the Foundation continues to grow.”
