The Jeunesses Musicales Canada Foundation Launches its Classical Cabaret Evening
Montreal, February 2, 2026 — Driven by its belief in the power and importance of sparking an interest in classical music among diverse audiences and contributing to greater access to culture across the country, the Foundation is pleased to announce its annual benefit event, the Classical Cabaret Evening, one of its main fundraising activities in support of the mission of Jeunesses Musicales Canada (JMC).
A festive and impactful evening
The benefit event will take place on May 19th, 2026, at Le Monastère and will bring together 200 to 250 guests. The evening will take the form of a cocktail reception, featuring musical performances by artists who have been supported by the Foundation throughout their career development, as well as brief remarks, all in a warm, welcoming atmosphere focused on connection and exchange.
Every dollar raised during the evening will help a young person discover music, express themselves, and thrive.
Funds raised will be used to:
* Offer educational concerts to children across the country;
* Create musical experiences in communities where they might not otherwise exist;
* Support the training and development of young Canadian classical musicians.
