FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Montreal – Friday, February 27, 2026 – Jeunesses Musicales Canada is pleased to announce the national tour of Postcards: from Isaac Albeniz to John Williams, with Duo Aster, composed of Clio Theodoridis on saxophone and Jonathan Nemtanu on piano. The tour, organized as part of the JMC Concerts programme, offers audiences a unique opportunity to discover this exceptional duo in an intimate setting.
The tour kicks off in Ville Marie (QC) on March 8th, and includes 16 stops across Quebec, Ontario and the Maritime provinces, concluding in Port-Cartier (QC) on April 15, 2026. Come explore the world of classical music with a show that takes you on a journey around the globe. Through Spanish, Hellenic, and Arab sonorities and across different eras, Duo Aster reveals the beauty of the saxophone and the depth of the piano.
Danièle LeBlanc, Jeunesses Musicales Canada’s Executive and Artistic Director, shares: “How captivating it is to hear the saxophone in repertoire beyond jazz. The duo is irresistible, and their virtuosity allows them to showcase a wide range of playing techniques, such as growling and slap tonguing.”
Tickets for the Postcards: from Isaac Albeniz to John Williams tour are available for purchase now on the JMC website and at local outlets.
