MONTREAL – Thursday, January 29, 2026 – Jeunesses Musicales Canada (JMC) announces the second of three Happy Hour Concerts by their artist-in-residence, Benjamin Deschamps, performing with the Mistral Ensemble in Astor’s Universe on Thursday, February 5th, at Joseph-Rouleau Hall at the André Bourbeau JMC House.
Come explore the fascinating world of Astor Piazzolla in this musical and narrative concert combining tango, jazz, classical music, and klezmer. From New York to Buenos Aires, this concert offers a stirring portrait of the well-known Argentinian composer and features an eclectic mix of violin, saxophone, flute, clarinet, guitar, and double bass.
