Montreal – Monday, November 10, 2025 – Jeunesses Musicales Canada is pleased to announce the national tour of French Panorama: Ravel, Descarries and Farrenc, with the Ensemble Callinos, featuring Edyelwys Silva (flute), Thomas Chartré (cello), and Jeanne Frenette (piano). The tour, organized as part of the JMC Concerts programme, offers audiences a unique opportunity to discover these exceptional artists in an intimate setting.
The tour kicks off with a bang on November 13, 2025, at the Richard Bradshaw Amphitheatre in Toronto, Ontario, and will include 14 stops across Quebec, Ontario and the Maritime provinces, concluding in Port-Cartier, Quebec on December 16, 2025. The group invites you to discover the spellbinding lyricism of the flute, cello, and piano trio, which inspired numerous works by French Romantic and Impressionist composers, along with the playful melodies of Pierné, the sweetness and richness of Descarries, and the dazzling virtuosity of Farrenc in a concert combining charm, tenderness, and passion.
Danièle LeBlanc, Jeunesses Musicales Canada’s Executive and Artistic Director, shared her enthusiasm at the prospect of this tour, noting: “The artistic committee was captivated by the warm atmosphere of the concert, the generosity and talent of the performers, and the beauty of the selected works. This is a trio worth hearing!”
Tickets for the French Panorama: Ravel, Descarries and Farrenc tour are available for purchase now on the JMC website and at local outlets.
