Ever since she was a little girl, people have said that Annabelle has her head in the clouds. She never believed them until, one day, as she listened to the birds singing on her way to school, wings began to grow out of her back. Before you know it, there she was, her two feet touching the tops of the clouds. The sky, a dream-like place where, with her harps, she can make it rain or make the sun shine, where birds have strange names like Handel, Debussy, and Albeniz, and where Annabelle is no longer really sure if she’s a girl, a bird, or an angel.
