As in the past, JMC is offering one of the most beloved operas in the repertory, L’Elisir d’amore (The Elixir of Love) by Gaetano Donizetti (1797-1848). First performed in Milan in May of 1832, this melodramma giocoso is truly a theatrical gem, filled with delights and buoyant sentiment. Give in to the enchantment of the elixir and allow a tear to trickle down your cheek.
