Stéphane Beaulac

Stéphane Beaulac received a bachelor's degree in performance from the Université de Montréal, studying with Jean-Luc Gagnon, and earned a Prize of Great Distinction from the Conservatoire de musique de Montréal. He interned at numerous music camps in Quebec and the United States, where he was able to work with such renowned teachers as Jens Lindemann, James Thompson, Vincent Cichowicz and Mark Gould, among others. He is also the recipient of bursaries from the Wilfrid-Pelletier Foundation and the Conservatoire de musique de Montréal alumni association.

Since 2002, Stéphane Beaulac has held the position of solo trumpetist with the Orchestre Métropolitain du Grand Montréal, and is a supernumerary with the Orchestre symphonique de Laval, the Orchestre des Grands Ballets Canadiens, the National Arts Centre Orchestra, the Chapelle de Montréal and the Ensemble Contemporain de Montréal. He has played with trombonist Alain Trudel, fellow trumpetist Jens Lindemann and many others.
