Judith Bouchard

 
  

Instrument: Soprano

A native of Quebec City, Judith Bouchard completed her Master’s in performance at Université Laval, studying with Marie-Danielle Parent, and received an Opera Diploma from Wilfrid Laurier University in Ontario, working with Victor Martens. She has been heard as a soloist in Berio’s Magnificat, Stravinsky’s Les Noces, and Haydn’s The Creation, among others. In the summer of 2008, she took part in a new production of the musical Les Misérables, presented at Place des Arts in Montreal in 2010. A Finalist in the Canadian Music Competition, and the recipient of several grants, she is currently appearing as a professional chorister in productions by the Opéra de Québec and the OSQ.
