Jonathan Lemieux

A graduate of École de musique Vincent-d’Indy, Jonathan Lemieux is currently completing his Bachelor’s in vocal perfor mance (classical singing) at the Université de Montréal, in Yolande Parent’s class. In 2007, he made his debut as a soloist with orchestra, taking part in the North American premiere of Concertoratorio by Michel Legrand, conducted by Jean-François Rivest. With the Université de Montréal’s opera workshop, he has appeared in the role of Judge Danforth in Robert Ward’s The Crucible and as A Man with a Paint Box in Dominick Argento’s Postcard from Morocco. He has also been heard performing Schubert’s Mass No. 4, Mozart’s Litaniae Lauretanae and Regina Coeli, Brahms’ Liebesliederwalzer, and Camille Saint-Saëns’ Christmas Oratorio.
