François-Olivier Jean began studying music at a very young age with the Petits Chanteurs du Mont-Royal in Montreal. This excellent training afforded him the opportunity, while still a child, to take part in Puccini’s La Bohème at the Opéra de Montréal. He later went on to complete a year of study in classical singing with Adrienne Savoie at the Conservatoire de musique du Québec in Montreal, where he notably took part in the operetta Die Fledermaus by Strauss. In 2010, he will complete his third year of study in performance at the Université de Montréal under the supervision of Adrienne Savoie and Louise-Andrée Baril.
