Public Pianos: Melodies in Open air

 

From August 23 to 26, 2018, enjoy a free series of concerts happening every day at 4 p.m. on the corner of rue Henri-Julien and avenue du Mont-Royal Est. 

 

Gounod, Rossini and Bernstein | Thursday August 23, 4 p.m.

As a way of celebrating these three composers' anniversaries, we offer a recital highlighting their very best pages. France, Italy and the United States will unite their voices and unique musical characteristics to provide you with a charming moment of lyrical flights.

*2018 markes Gounod's 200th, Rossini's 150th and Bernstein's 100th.

 

French Chanson | Friday August 24, 4 p.m.

You can (re)discover music from West Side Story, Les Misérables, Kiss Me Kate and many other classics of the genre, sung in solo or as duets.

 

Heroes from Opera | Sunday August 26, 4 p.m.
